Gold accents are used in many different ways, jewelry, home accessories even attached to the human body. While gold adds a unique charm and value to these things, gold does tend to dull and wear over time. Fortunately due to the malleability of gold it can also be brought back to life, its shine restored looking as good as new.
Cleaning The Gold
To restore and renew gold all that’s needed is some gentle cleaning and a few household items. The items needed are: dish soap, warm water, a soft cloth, and a soft-bristle toothbrush.
1 For the first step put some of the dish soap into a bowl of warm water.
2 Place the gold accessories in the solution and let sit for 15 minutes.
3 Gently scrub the gold with a soft-bristle toothbrush. Then rinse in warm water.
5 For the last step simply dry the gold with a towel.
